Thursday, May 24, the Abbot of Sant’Ambrogio church, Msgr. Carlo Faccendini, consecrated the Italian inscription “NOT BY BREAD ALONE” from the Holy See Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 that was installed in the parish courtyard, with the support of the Pesenti Foundation.
The Consecration took place at 8:45 pm at 25 Sant’Ambrogio Square before the Marian procession formed by the children that celebrate the end of their annual catechism class.
With this inauguration, the “Journey of the Word”–the long itinerary promoted by the Pontifical Council for Culture and Caritas Ambrosiana to revive the message the Holy See sent out during its participation at Expo Milano 2015–reached its ninth stage through recovery and relocation of the metal letters placed on the Holy See Pavilion’s facades.
