I have integrated myself 100 percent. I have many friends and many people want to know me. It is great to be able to speak English and people understand you!

Relationships with the host family:
I’m getting along very well with my my host family. It was wonderful to feel fully integrated and 100% part of the family. We often do activities together.

Relations with the host community and friends:
I have integrated myself 100 percent. I have many friends and many people want to know me. It is great to be able to speak English and people understand you!

Inclusion and academic achievement with respect to performance and interactions with teachers and peers:
The American school system is completely different from the Italian school system and it has both positive and negative aspects. My schoolwork is fine, and it is easy to get good grades. Teachers are always very available and very helpful.

Extracurricular activities:
Extracurricular activities couldn’t be better. Currently I’m on the ski team: we have competed in many competitions out of Wisconsin and relationships with my teammates are strong. In spring I will join the tennis team.

Three beautiful things I will never forget:
The ski race at La Crosse, attended by all the best skiers in Wisconsin. The Valentine’s dinner with my host family. My host brother’s birthday.

Three nasty things I will never forget:
Sincerely, nothing negative comes to my mind.

Other
I want to thank again for this wonderful experience. I am becoming much more mature and autonomous.
