I have made some fantastic friends. I could not ask for anything better. We spend a lot of time together and we often help each other with homework. I have also made friends with other exchange students and it is surprising to discover how many different cultures exist.

Relationships with the host family:
I think I was super super lucky. My host mum is a lot like me, we are both strong-minded, so at times we may disagree, however we always work it out and get closer because of it.

Relations with the host community and friends:

Inclusion and academic achievement with respect to performance and interactions with teachers and peers:
American school is easier than Italian. Having the same subjects every day, we never have too much homework. I feel very comfortable with my classmates, but the semester is almost over and soon all my classes will change.

Extracurricular activities:
In the fall season I joined the cross-country team and I really enjoyed it. So, I decided to pursue this passion and now I’m in the Winter Running team. Despite the cold weather, I really enjoy running.

Three beautiful things I will never forget:
The party where the only food being served was Italian food prepared in my honor.
The legendary Black Friday: such a great day for me!.
Decorating the Christmas tree with my host family.

Three nasty things I will never forget:
Currently I have nothing negative to say. Just common teenager/parent quarrels.

Other:
I thank you all once again for this great opportunity. I am living every moment to the fullest and time is absolutely flying by.
